FREE SAUNA TIME at THE LOT

Join us at The Lot in Hayward!

THE LOT LOCATION

The Lot is located at 10597 Kansas Ave, Hayward, WI 54843

WHAT IS SAUNA AT THE LOT?

We've partnered with The Lot to provide the opportunity for free sauna time for ALL EXPERIENCE LEVELS.

You're welcome to join in if you've never been in a sauna and if you're an expert just looking for something different and meet new people.

We will have at least one sauna going during the scheduled days. If our saunas aren't rented and we can, we'll have two saunas going.

You can expect to have a sauna, a campfire, chairs, buckets of water, and heated changing areas.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

Sauna time is supposed to be a simple time - something to wear, a couple towels, and something to drink.  Each person prefers something a little different, but here is some basic info:

  • Swimwear or Sauna Suit: Many people use swimwear like swim trunks or a bathing suit. Others will go with shorts and a minimal shirt.
  • Nothing Synthetic: Avoid materials like nylon or polyester because they do not handle the heat and moisture well and can be uncomfortable or even cause burns due to heat retention.
  • Minimal Accessories: Remove jewelry, watches, and glasses as they can become very hot or uncomfortable.

Additional Tips:

  • Footwear: Generally, people go barefoot inside the sauna, but wear some sandals around outside.
  • Hygiene: You should sit or lie on a towel to avoid direct skin contact with the wood benches, which helps maintain cleanliness for everyone.
  • Personal Comfort: Ultimately, wear what you feel comfortable in, but always be considerate of others sharing the space.
