WHAT ARE THE HEALTH BENEFITS OF SAUNA?
We are not doctors and we’re not going to try to sell you on sauna being the fix for everything. That said, we’ll list out and share whatever we learn, over HERE.
We strongly believe that, from a health perspective, there are three main pillars in how people use sauna: relaxation/meditation, social/traditional, and performance (you could add another pillar for general use – in a smaller group, the sauna is a necessity for off grid situations).
Like any tool, your intention is important in defining the parameters of the benefits you are hoping to see. Sauna (and pretty much anything) will not be a heal all pill. It’s clear from scientific data, generations of anecdotal evidence from around the world, and personal feedback that sauna can be one important element in your mental and physical well-being. It’s probably not going to fix your hangover and reverse the effects of eating poorly, and we’re not going to try to sell you on that.
We’re certain that sauna can help you slow down, with intention, with a thought towards doing something good for your soul. Now go over HERE and scroll through some of the health info we’re compiling.
HOW DO I START A FIRE IN THE STOVE?
Here are a couple videos from others as a guide to help you build a fire. There are many ways to start a fire. Please note that we provide instruction when we deliver. We also provide you with some Fatwood firestarters to help.
